Grand Cayman Batabano Caribbean Carnival
Generally in May around the first the weekend for this wonderfully colorful Caribbean street carnival. The Batabano Carnival weekend begins with a masked ball followed by the street parade highlighting the Cayman Islands' unique and diverse culture. The day is capped off by a street dance with the "Band" float competition awards followed by both local and imported Caribbean/calypso bands.
