Horseback Riding
There are many horseback-riding companies on the island all with healthy horses and knowledgeable guides who are looking forward to meeting you and showing you the hidden parts of Grand Cayman. The guides will take you and your horse through some of the streets of West Bay where you will pass old Cayman Style homes as well as the modern additions. Soon, you will find yourself walking through palm trees and Casuarina trees as you and your horse approach the beach.
There are many horses from which to choose, tall stallions, shiny mares, or gentle ponies, and depending on your skill level, they will walk, trot, gallop, or canter. Depending on the company, you may ride or swim the horses in the water, or run them along the beach!
Tours can be arranged through the Adventure Concierge. Horseback riding tours take place in the early morning when the day is fresh with dew, the evening as the sun sets setting the water and sky aglow with spectacular pinks, greens, reds, and blues, or at night under a canopy of twinkling stars.
